Catalyst Bumper Project

October 2022

The goal of this project was to create a short, animated bumper for the Arizona PBS show, Catalyst. It would be played after selected video content, and needed to grab viewers’ attention while representing the brand.

The concept I had was to use squares in various brand colors to act as building blocks for the background, symbolizing how science builds upon past ideas to create more complete theories, then reveal the logo and iconography. Below is the final animation, as well as the project creative brief and storyboard.
